I spent 32 years working for a public sector labor union in Sacramento, California. In the early 1990s, I noticed I was a classical liberal Christian instead of a progressive liberal atheist, and that it was my moral duty to give my best to my employer. Sabotage and division (the big-city activist way) was out of the question for me, but that didn't save me from union leaders who tried to fire me without cause. Weirdly enough, a few years later I became the first and only Employee of the Year (after which the program was unexpectedly discontinued). You can find me on Substack arguing for individual rights and against fascists who say they're for democracy.
